Hi I'm Sophie.
I adore fresh flowers - and by fresh I mean straight from my garden fresh. I love the smell, feel and joy of creating with fleeting beauty. Flowers make people happy. This here little garden of mine is an experiment in it's first year. I am growing flowers to sell at the local markets.
I like wild colourful lush flowers.
I'm learning on the hop, reading books, devouring information and playing with what I can grow.
So far that looks like: ranunculus, sweet peas, cosmos, zinnias as my main crops. Plus other trials to see how they grow in this very hot and very cold part of the world.
From little things big things grow.
